Rainman(not the movie one) is not autistic!
I always thought he was, that shocked me when I found out.
It turns out that (look I'm quoting--->) "When Kim Peek was born, doctors found a water blister on the right side of his skull, similar to hydrocephalus. Later tests showed his brain hemispheres are not separated, forming a single, large ``data storage'' area."
And "According to Peek's father, Fran, Peek was able to memorize things from the age of 16-20 months"
Also " He can recall some 9,600 books from memory."
That's amazing.
He has lived a hard life besides all that and memorizes dates from hundreds of years ago and hundreds of uears from now, his motor skills, basic memory(like looking for silverware drawer), and simple stuff like that he sometimes has trouble with.
But it's all still amazing. I'm angry at people (not rainman or autistic people or anyone like that) for reasons that you would argue about with me, so I can't tell you why.
